PassJAMB ("we", "us", "our") is an online JAMB UTME and Post-UTME preparation platform operated by PASSJAMB ENTERPRISE, registered with the Corporate Affairs Commission of Nigeria (Registration No. 9609283). This policy explains how we handle your information when you use passjamb.org and the PassJAMB Android app (together, the "Service").

• Account information: your name, email address and profile picture when you sign up with email or Google.
• Study and exam data: subjects chosen, topics read, quiz and mock-exam answers, scores, study plans and progress.
• Payment information: subscription status and transaction references. Card payments are processed by our payment provider; we never store your full card details. Bank-transfer payments are confirmed manually using the details you send us.
• Device and security data: a device identifier, browser/app type, IP address and sign-in times. We use these to prevent fraud, duplicate free-trial accounts and account sharing.
• Notifications: if you allow notifications, a push token so we can send study reminders and updates.
• Usage data: basic information on how the app is used and whether it is installed, to improve the Service.

• To create and manage your account and give you access to lessons, past questions and mock exams.
• To track your progress, show results and build personalised study plans.
• To process subscriptions and manage free trials.
• To send study reminders, service emails and (only if you allowed it) push notifications.
• To protect the Service against fraud, abuse and unauthorised account sharing.
• To provide support and improve our content and features.

Some explanations and practice questions are generated with the help of AI. We do not send your personal information (such as your name or email) to AI providers when generating study content.

We do not sell your personal data. We only share it with:

• Trusted service providers that host our app, database, email and payments, solely to run the Service.
• Google, if you choose to sign in with Google.
• Authorities, where required by Nigerian law or to protect our users and the Service.

Your data is stored on secure cloud servers with encryption in transit (HTTPS) and access controls that ensure each user can only see their own data. No system is 100% secure, but we take reasonable steps to protect your information.

We keep your account data for as long as your account is active. If you ask us to delete your account, we remove your personal data within 30 days, except records we must keep for legal, accounting or fraud-prevention purposes.

Under the Nigeria Data Protection Act 2023 you may request access to, correction of, or deletion of your personal data, and withdraw consent for notifications at any time. To request account deletion or exercise any right, email us at Passjambsupport@gmail.com from the email linked to your account.

PassJAMB is intended for students preparing for JAMB and Post-UTME, typically aged 13 and above. Users under 18 should use the Service with the knowledge of a parent or guardian. We do not knowingly collect data from children under 13.

We may update this policy from time to time. The latest version will always be on this page, with the date it was last updated.
